Practice Areas
Mr. Keville joined Hooper, Lundy & Bookman after graduating from Loyola Law School – Los Angeles in 2001. His practice currently focuses on reimbursement and regulatory issues for a number of health care provider categories, including hospitals, physicians, laboratories and durable medical equipment suppliers. Recently, Mr. Keville has been actively involved in several large-scale litigation matters related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement policies. In 2008, Mr. Keville participated in challenging the legality of a competitive bidding demonstration project for laboratory services being implemented by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, wherein the United States District Court for San Diego issued a preliminary injunction to halt the demonstration project. Mr. Keville has been involved in a number of other cases concerning such things as Medicare disproportionate share hospital (“DSH”) payments, Medicare outlier payments and Medi-Cal payment rate reductions. He also has experience representing clients before various administrative tribunals, including the Provider Reimbursement Review Board. Mr. Keville also advises clients on various regulatory matters.
