Linda Randlett Kollar, Partner

Practice Areas

Ms. Kollar specializes in the representation of behavioral health care providers, including licensed non-profit community care facilities that provide residential treatment and foster care for children, and health care professionals including physicians, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and marriage, family and child counselors, throughout California. Ms. Kollar devotes a substantial part of her practice to advising these behavioral health care providers on licensure, representing them in administrative and civil litigation, false claims matters including OIG investigations and qui tam litigation, in contract negotiations, as well as on the formation of integrated services and managed care issues. Ms. Kollar represents many of the non-profit child welfare and behavioral health care providers with respect to their day to day operations, including responding to subpoenas, governmental reporting and regulatory compliance. She also has expertise in the areas of special education, privacy, confidentiality, HIPAA and minor's consent for treatment issues.

Ms. Kollar has a significant amount of experience in business law and litigation, including writ and appellate work. Ms. Kollar's litigation experience includes environmental, employment, and real property matters, including trials, opinion letters, and client counseling.

Ms. Kollar has lectured throughout the United States as a speaker at the Child Welfare League of America Regional Conferences, has gained recognition for her expertise throughout California, and is a sought after speaker.
