Practice Areas
Ms. Neroni’s practice involves primarily regulatory and compliance issues related to the provision of health care services, including representing and advising a wide variety of health care providers regarding Medicare and Medi-Cal reimbursement, compliance and enrollment issues. Ms. Neroni also assists in the defense of False Claims Act cases including the defense of one of the largest hospital chains in the United States in a Federal False Claims Act investigation involving over 14,000 alleged false claims. Ms. Neroni has extensive experience advising clients about a wide variety of highly technical governmental payment and regulatory issues, including Medicare and Medi-Cal appeals and is an expert on issues related to operational and ownership changes, including licensing, certification, accreditation and participation in both the Medicare and Medi-Cal programs for all types of providers.
