Erin Sclar is an Associate in the San Francisco office. Ms. Sclar received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2020, summa cum laude and graduating Order of the Coif. During law school, Ms. Sclar served as a judicial extern in the Northern District of California, was a research fellow at the UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy, and was a legal intern for the Harvard Law School Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation. Ms. Sclar is also the past-president of Hastings Health Law Organization.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sclar held various roles related to health care advocacy and policy, including founding a consulting practice focused on Medicaid advocacy in Florida, teaching policy to Social Work graduate students at the University of South Florida, and serving as a Legislative Affairs Associate for a national hospital trade association in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Sclar graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. degree in Political Science and Peace Studies, with a minor in Anthropology, and from Washington University in St. Louis with a Master of Social Work degree.
