Andrea Frey is co-chair of the firm’s Digital Health Task Force. Her practice focuses on corporate and health care regulatory matters, with an emphasis on health privacy and data issues, digital health, licensure and certification, scope of practice, and medical staff matters.
In particular, Ms. Frey regularly assists clients, including hospitals, health systems, health care districts, digital health providers, and emerging health care businesses, navigate federal and state laws governing privacy and digital health, including COVID-19 public health emergency waivers, as well as a broad range of transactional and related regulatory issues. Ms. Frey also advises clients on various compliance issues in connection with medical staff matters, including internal operations and self-governance, provider licensure and credentialing, and delegation agreements.
Ms. Frey graduated from Tufts University cum laude with degrees in Economics, International Relations, and Spanish in 2009, and received her J.D. with honors from University of Washington, where she served as the Associate Editor in Chief of the Washington International Law Journal, while simultaneously earning her Master of Public Health in Health Policy in 2016.
